Brookfield Show 2012 - Needlework Hall

I had the great pleasure of spending the last two days at my local show with the nicest group of ladies. Thank you all.

I have judged the Bear making section of the Brookfield Show for the last 10 years.  It is the only competition that I judge.  This year I also displayed a few of my bears to promote my new studio and the art of bear making.

I also demonstrated the art of bear making.  The response was brilliant from young and old.  I asked the children to help me put the eyes in a bear's head.  They loved to help and were all so well mannered.

There were 80 quilts entered in the show as well as lots of other crafts like knitting, doll making and needlework. 

I had a great view from my corner.  There are so many really creative people out there.

 

Setting up the hall is very hard work. The ladies do a brilliant job making sure everyone's work is displayed.
