Megelles Teddy Bear & Patchwork Studio
I love show and tell and when a friend showed me her latest creation. I just had to make one too.
The pattern I used is called the Bionic Gear Bag - it has four pockets. (The pattern my friend used was called the Sew together bag - it has three pockets). If you would like to make one just google the pattern names and they are easy to find - they are available as PDF downloads. I think I will just have to make another from Tilda fabrics.
My winter crotcheting project has been a granny square rug. I was trying to use up my wool stash. It is a work in progress as I still need to add the border.
And I also managed to make this quilt for a friend's 60th birthday.
So many things to make but not enough hours in the day!
Have a great week everyone!
I know I should have written this post ages ago - my apologies. I must remember that not everyone uses those other sites! Thanks Jean for the reminder.
I do think I have started this post about five times already. Every time something happens like my internet goes slow or some one has to be somewhere and I had forgotten......anyway here are a few photos from my trip to Sydney for the 2013 Sydney teddy Bear Fair.
We had horrid rain up here in Brissie and it was headed to Sydney. My first and last stop was Melissa's shop Mushi and Boo ( The Art of Teddy Bears) where I stayed for the weekend. I just love Mel's shop. It is full of lots and lots of gorgeous things. I was especially chuffed to see the display of my bears and my bear patterns and samples.
Due to the rain of course I had was happy to stay inside and complete a few more bears for the show.
Have a safe and happy Easter!
I have set up a new widget on my side bar for my mailing list – I am yet to work out how to fully use it. If you join, remember, I will be offering special giveaways and discounts to all my members.
And one of my patterns – Joe - is now available free on the teddy bear society website . If you decide to make your own please email me a photo.
