Working on something I started over 3 years ago!

I am feeling inspired.  Yesterday I opened a jelly roll and charm pack from the Athill Range from Moda.....

and then I sat at my sewing machine and sewed!!!

Then I realised I didn't have enough wadding left to complete it and I didn't feel like going to the shops.

So this morning, (after doing umpteen loads of washing) I got out the quilt top I started about three years ago. I never finished it then as I was not sure what sort of border to do.  I put the centre piece on my bed and realised that one very thick border would work perfectly.

What do you think?

Originally I was going to handquilt as well but I am having second thoughts...
