I already have one treadle Singer sewing machine and bought my second on eBay a few weeks ago. My 'new' one is an 1898 Singer treadle sewing machine. The family I bought it from is restoring an old Queenslander.
I had been looking for new bedside tables for ages but never really found what I wanted.
I am amazed by the condition of the machine - it does work. One of the drawer's handles is missing and veneer is lifting in a few places otherwise it is in good condition and it makes a great bedside table!
It also came with the timber cover but it was in pieces -a job for my father.
After looking at the photos in my last post especially the ones of the cushions, I decided to add a few extra stitches and a few buttons just to complete them. Don't you think they look better?
The bag was also part of the last post and I thought I would show you the back.
Have a great week!
