This morning I definitely knew that winter had arrived in sunny Queensland. It hasn't been this cold for years.
Today, I had a great day at Queensland biggest Doll & Bear show. I have been trading at the show every June for years (I should find out exactly how many) and every year I see customers and traders that I only see at the show. My son Robbie came and helped me for the day. He is now 11 and there were a few comments like I can remember when you were born! Thanks Robbie for all your help.
Lorraine Davey form Balgowlah Bears came up from Sydney. She showed me her latest creation. It was the most amazing fox.
The ladies from the Brisbane Teddy Bear Shop were all smiles. They asked me to let you know that they have moved to 245 Given Terrace Paddington QLD. Please pop in and check out the new shop.
I had a great chat to Pam Campbell from Campbell Bears. It has been a few years since we have traded at the same show so we had lots to catch up on.
I did manage to take a few photos of my table. The above girls looked so cute sitting together.
The above 3 little bears were finished this afternoon at the show today. The actual bears were finished before the show but not their outfits. They are still to be named. I am getting to the stage where I find I am duplicating the names of my bears. I have a list of my favourite names and sometimes think I use them too much.
This big girl is also to be named. I will have to find my baby name book!
My table – it look so neat in the photos.
Time to turn the heaters on and to organise what is for dinner.
Hugs Lisa
