On Friday, I finally finished the backing for my sister Suzy's quilt. I only needed a few hours to complete it. Tomorrow it will be in the post to Rebecca from Homestead Quilting to work her magic.

On Saturday we headed to Toowoomba for a family reunion for my mother's side of the family. The reunion was at my parent's farm – Hillview. It was great to catch up with everyone. We camped out in our camper trailer for the night and came home late yesterday. Today I will be washing and hopefully I will find a little time to play with some fabric and make something for me.

Hi Lisa,
I love your quilt, my daughter would just love to have one like that on her bed. I am so sorry to have missed your workshop at Warwick a few week ends ago. One think lead to another and hence I was unable to get away from work. I was wondering if you would be running any in the future. Are you doing any workshops at Winter Wonderland. I would like to be able to buy the kit and maybe catch up so you could teach me how to do the fine details in their faces. I have been making bears for years and have a following in North Queensland. After my marriage break up I moved south and gave it away...but after checking your web blog daily I'm back..we have meet before and your mum bought one of my bears...would love to hear from you...hope you can help.. love your work..
Regards
Barb
