I had very nice weekend in Sydney surrounded by a group of very talented ladies.
Kate, Jo and I (I was the 'ring in') spent Friday setting up the booth and then collapse in the hotel room that night. We had room service and watched a movie – definitely the sort of thing you do when you are away from home!!
Kate and Jo's new business is called Annabellamoonthreads. I also meet a few ladies whose work I have admired for years but never actually meet.
Here are a few other weblogs for you to visit.
Natalie Ross from Natalie Ross in Stitches Her work is just amazing and she is a very nice lady. Her booth was next to Kate and Jo's
Helen Stubbings from Helen's Hugs Helen is from Tassie. There are so many very talented designers from Tassie and I just love her business name.
Hatched and Patched Annie's work speaks for itself.
Lynette Anderson Another Queenslander and I have admired Lynette's work for years.
I also bought a few new fabrics and have already started to cut them up.
The below pink and green are just divine. I have just finished dressing a big bear in these fabric.
On the weekend I did find some time for bear making and these four were nicknamed 'the quads'
Now I had better get back to sewing for this weekend!
Hugs Lisa
Ps My dear friend Vicki dropped in to see me. She is the best!!!
